Spay-Neuter

Spay/Neuter

Between 3 and 4 million pets are euthanized at animal shelters across the United States each year, most of which could have been avoided if more owners spayed and neutered their pets.

At P.A.W.S, we offer low cost spay and neuter services because we believe they offer proven medical advantages for your pet. These surgeries are  done as out-patient procedures with a relatively quick recovery time.

The advantages are very similar for both cats and dogs:

Benefits of Spay
  • Eliminates ovarian, uterine, and cervical cancer
    Reduces the desire to fight, thereby reduces the spread of disease
    When done before first heat cycle, reduces the risk of breast cancer
    Eliminates the risk of pyometra (infection of uterus)
    Reduces the tendency to roam to mate

Benefits of Neuter
  • Reduces risk of testicular cancer
    Reduced risk of prostate disease
    Reduces the tendency to roam to mate
    Reduces the desire to fight and spread disease

Surgical cost include;

Anesthesia, Surgical Monitoring, Pain Injection, Antibiotic Injection, Recovery, and an E-collar.

Feline Spay $55.00
